Data Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active. Inactive accounts for 2 years may be deleted after notification. All account data, including authentication credentials, is permanently deleted immediately upon account deletion request.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We use the following third-party services to provide our App functionality:
- Supabase: For user authentication, database storage, and real-time synchronization. Your personal data (email, preferences, playlists, etc.) is stored securely on Supabase servers
- Social Login Providers: Google and Apple Sign-In (we only receive your email and basic profile information, no other data is shared with these providers)
- Bible Content APIs: We fetch Bible content from external public APIs (cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/wldeh/bible-api, bible-api.com, bible-go-api.rkeplin.com). These services only receive the Bible reference you request (book, chapter, verse) - NO personal information is shared
What Data Is Shared?
- With Supabase: Your email, password (encrypted), display name, preferences, playlists, song activity, and Bible bookmarks
- With Social Login Providers: Only during initial login - they provide us your email and name
- With Bible APIs: Only the Bible references you request to read - no personal data
- With Audio CDNs: Song audio files are loaded directly from our Supabase storage - no third-party CDNs involved
Important: We do NOT use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Firebase Analytics, or any advertising networks. We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or marketing companies.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: View all personal data we have about you
- Correction: Update or correct your information in the App settings
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data
- Export: Request a copy of your data in a portable format
